DIY Christmas Tablesetting

I am SO excited to share my favourite Christmas Table-setting with all of you. I started with a simple DIY… I got a Birch log, and got my hubby to transform it into a candle holder. It was so easy to make.. he first trimmed the bottom of the log using a table saw, so it sits flat on the table (and doesn’t roll). He then measured the size of a tea light, and used a spade bit to make the holes on the log.

I then added a fur table runner from PotteryBarn, and Seasonal Greenery from Michaels. This dresses up the log to make it more festive for the season. Adding cinnamon sticks, ornaments, pinecones, berries, and plaid ribbons to your greenery makes it more interesting with more texture. I love mixing different shades of green, and different styles of the greenery for once again, a more textured look.

I love sharing fun, easy DIY’s with all of you, and I hope you re-create this look and love it as much as I do! I can not wait to pull out all my Christmas Decor this year! And remember friends this log can be so versatile, it can be used within the different seasons.. adding Fall Greenery, and pumpkins would be SO beautiful. The Birch log just adds so much warmth and interest to the space.

XO
