Valentine’s Day

Happy Thursday sweet friends! I want to share with you a little Valentines Day decor.. adding a few simple touches can be just.. enough. I usually start with fresh flowers, a seasonal pillow, and then believe it or not I got a few little Valentine touches from the dollar store. Yes you read correctly I went to the Dollarama and found super cute Valentine Decor!

My fresh tulips came from our local grocery store, my pom pom blanket and LOVE pillow came from Pottery Barn and my Valentine decor (tea towels, candle, heart tea light holder, and heart cookie sheet) came from our local Dollarama.

I love re-using and switching decor around the house. This makes everything seem a little more affordable, and realistic. The blankets and pillows I use to decorate our master bedroom came from Homesense and Pottery Barn. I get asked quite often about where I found the picture above my bed, and its from a Canadian store called Urban Barn.

I found the XOXO signs from Michaels. And it adds just the perfect touch for Valentines Day. I will share a few more photos with you, but I hope I was able to inspire you for the upcoming holiday.

XO

Lindsey

    Lindsey,
The way you incorporate texture and coziness into all of your spaces is just awesome. I get so excited when you do a new post, and pore over and analyze all the details! Inspiring!!

    Hi Lindsey,
Thank you for your blog! I have come back here several times trying to gin up enough courage to do black kitchen cabinets in our new farmhouse build starting in spring. I think that is how I found you – looking for black cabinet ideas, and farmhouse black cabinets. I WANT the black cabinets but have thought quite a few times that white is safe and I can’t go wrong :/

I enjoy your photos and they have inspired me to just be bold with it and do the black. I MIGHT have to have a designer help with it though (maybe). I think a designer can at least show me on a 3D design what my kitchen ideas would look like.

Anyway, Happy New year and Valentines Day as well. Very nice work you do!

    Erin

    Hi Lindsey,

I am so in love with your home, and you have inspired me to redecorate mine. You said the paint color you used was called Mommia by Sherwin Williams? I cannot find this color when I search online or in store. Was this discontinued?

Anyway, thank you for sharing your beautiful home with your readers. Please keep the pictures and posts coming!

    HI Lindsey!

You have such a beautiful home, and you have inspired me to redecorate mine. You said your cabinets are stained Thunderstorm. What brand of stain did you use so that I can find the exact match?

Thank you for sharing your home with us. Please keep the posts and pictures coming!

Love your kitchen! May I ask where you found your barstools? That leather is beautiful.
    Thanks!
