Tis the season for hot cocoa! Whether your cuddled up by the fire, or having family and friends over this holiday season, its the perfect time to make a festive cup of hot chocolate. I want to share with you my favourite hot cocoa recipe. First off I use ‘Tim Hortons‘ hot chocolate mix.. well, because I’m Canadian haha and its the best.  (But anyone of your favourite hot chocolate mixes would work perfectly.)

Recipe 

• 4-5 heaping tablespoons of Hot Chocolate mix
• 2 cups of milk
• 1 cup of mini marshmallows 
• candy cane crush
• 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
• whip cream

Directions

• heat 2 cups of milk in a stovetop pot
• add hot chocolate mix
• add 1/2 cup mini marshmallows
• simmer until marshmallows have melted..
• add hot chocolate to you festive cup, top with whip cream, candy cane crush, and sprinkled cocoa 
• ENJOY!
