I love decorating for Christmas, and I love finding DIY’s that are fun to make, and look beautiful. I have a few simple DIY’s that were really easy to make. My first one was this DIY birch log, with tea light holders. Basically my hubby just took the bottom of the log, and shaved a bit off so it would sit flat on the table. Then he took his drill and drilled tea light sized holes in the top.
Then, the fun part, decorating the log. I just went to Michaels and got Christmas greenery, pinecones, berries, and seasonal decor. I love the warmth it brings to my table setting. I also used a fur table runner under the log for more texture.
Another fun Christmas DIY my hubby and I made was these wood Christmas Presents.
He used regular plywood, and cut them to appropriate sizes to make a square, and rectangle, and little rectangles to make gift tags. Then I picked up vintage paint from Michaels and painted the boxes to look vintage. I just finished off the look with white burlap, and made my own bows.
